Who this covers
Meridian is developed and operated by RABITAI Algorithmic Trading, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 97707953, Netherlands. This policy covers meridianfinancials.io and the account you create by signing in.
What we collect
Sign-in is Google OAuth only - there is no separate Meridian password. Google shares your name, email address, and account ID with us at sign-in; we don't request your Google contacts, files, or calendar. If you add tickers or countries to a watchlist, or opt into the digest or real-time alerts, we store that list against your account so we know what to check and where to send it. Vercel Analytics records anonymized page and event data (for example, that a sign-in was attempted) to tell us the product is working - it is not tied to your identity beyond the session it happened in.
What we don't collect
No payment or banking details - Meridian doesn't charge for access today. No brokerage or portfolio holdings; watchlists are tickers and countries you've chosen to follow, not positions you hold. No tracking pixels or third-party ad networks.
How it's used
Your account ID and email keep you signed in and address the digest or watchlist alert emails you've opted into (see the methodology page for what triggers those). Nothing you enter is used to train a model, and your email is never sold or shared with a third party for marketing.
Where it's stored
Account, watchlist, and alert-preference data live in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Session state is a stateless, signed cookie (NextAuth/Auth.js) - it isn't looked up against a database on every request. Market, event, and official-statistic data referenced elsewhere on this site (BLS, FRED, USGS, GDELT, and the other sources named on the methodology page) describes the world, not you, and isn't personal data.
Cookies
One first-party session cookie, set at sign-in and read by the app to know you're signed in. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by Meridian itself.
Your choices
You can remove tickers or countries from your watchlist, or turn off the digest and real-time alerts, from inside the app at any time. To close your account and have your stored data deleted, email the address below - we'll confirm once it's done.

Analytics consent and Global Privacy Control
First-party analytics load only after you allow them, or not at all if your browser sends Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC). We treat GPC as a decline. Watchlist email uses a one-click unsubscribe header. We do not sell personal information.
